hello can you hear me clearly? oh small voice what about now? sorry cuz my noise cancellation headphone is not working at the moment. but hold on. let me fix it can you give me a little bit moment what about now it's okay now? but it's ok hold on just give me a few seconds I can (★1:01) cuz I don't have a follow up phone class so it's ok let me fix it just for a while I've been teaching lately but now there's a problem with my headphone but ok hold on let me just fix it. what about now can you hear it now? better? but what about the background noise? it's ok just give me for now cuz I have to fix my headphone I don't know what happened to my (★1:45) it's a noise cancellation app but it's not working at the moment so I hope you (★1:53) with me. is that okay? but anyway how are you? that's nice to hear but just get some rest then you feel better anyway I'd like to introduce myself my name is teacher Sarina. and how do you want me to call you? Anna nice to meet you such a beautiful name your name is as beautiful as you. nice to meet you Anna I just have some few questions for you. that would be ok? so first question is how do you want me to correct you would you like me to do it right away or imediately or later for the end of the class or just in the feedback box? ok what about my speaking pace? aside from background noises or anything is it too fast too slow or just right for you? if I'm speaking too fast just let me know ok so I can slow down a little bit for you. you're welcome what would you like to talk about in this class would you like to have a free talk or would you like to use some materials? are you aware of our materials? oh you have it so what would you like to do we have four topics. think n rank so let me show my screen plz let me do know if my voice is quite (★4:11) or sth but now is better? thank God. let me share my screen. where is my.. you have it that's good now let's I'll just open my material already it's actually ready so yup here do you have any ideas what you're going to do in this think n rank? set 3. professionalis. you really like the professionalism? so do you have any idea what to do with this think n rank sorry for the background noises. yes I'm hearing it but it's good. yeah I do I'm just worring cuz you might not be able to hear my voices but good? there are 10 sets in this lesson right so you are aware of our materials. here you're going to choose which set you would like to disscuss and you chose the number (★5:43) so here you have to (★5:46) them from first to last good? so a-ha yeah so here you have to choose which one would you like to place in the first is it keeping personal life in private, respecting non working time e.x vacation, asking colleagues not to interrupt you in deeper, ending meetings on time, saying no to office gossip, clarifying your job description to avoid scope creep. how would you like to lace these six items? that's good. so what can you say about um let's begin with the first one what do you think about keeping personal life private what can you say about that? well keeping personal life private sometimes is good cuz you will be able to keep everything by yourself without the even knowing anything about you sometimes it's safe to just make things personal like to make things private cuz when you show everything not just all around the world but in general like your friends even your familes sometimes you hide sth from them cuz you want to hide sth from them but it's to protect yourself or your private life even if in the relationships, family or anyone around you so I think it's ok to set personal boundaries when it comes to setting your personal private stuff like that. do you agree with that? any social media you don't have anything? sometimes it's good I think that's better it's you're away from any negativity going around you like even though you don't have anything you dont' know anything about the news or stuff like that at least you're protecting yourself from all the negativity around the social media (★9:56) that's really nice to hear cuz it's the same as me even though I use instagram I have facebook I don't really use them a lot. I only use them to message to my family to message my friend but I don't really like scrolling through my facebook account or anything so it's nice to hear that we're just the same when it come to protecting your privacy. and what about the second one respecting non-working time what can you say about this? e.x vacation. that's really nice. yeah I understand but what about your hobbies? aside from traveling do you have any hobbies you like doing anything in your free time? oh reading book same. oh same here I play the piano as well I (★11:35) you it's like here my sister are you my sister? what about what else aside from playing the piano? oh Japanese I like learning different languages especially Korean I'm learning Korean. I'm currently learning Korean. I only know a little bit. like I only know basic. such like that I'm also learning Japanese and it's nice to hear that you're learning the same language. you must be a intelligent student I guess that. I can tell you that you are such an intelligent student cuz you like reading you like learninig languages do you know reading makes you wise? that's why you're wise. Reading makes you intelligence. so keep it up. just keep on practicing just keep on learning it's nice to hear so how's it going with your Japanese language and Eng language? oh. that's really good it's one of the good things to be able to learn a language communicate with peopel especially (★13:30), friends, native speakers like Japanese Korean or Americans even people who don't know how to speak Eng rihtso and that way you can adopt the words how they pronounce it how they say it it's such a good thing I can say it's such a for you just keep it up keep on going you will be even better soon. you're already better I can tell you that you're already better. as the day goes by Anna you will see and you will find yourself oh I'm fluent in Eng I can communicate with anyone yes I swear. just keep motivated and keep yourself focus on what you're doing don't let anyone like distract you without what you're doing just keep on learning cuz that is what you can bring anywhere in the world so I hope you agree with that. actually I don't have a lot of corrections when it comes to your Eng cuz your pronunciation is better and the way you communicate is amazing like you can express your thoughts clearly without even thinking hard how to say this that you already know how to say the things so that is what makes you wonderful student but I'm afraid to say we only have limited time and I feel bad cuz we only have 10 mins but I extended for you I dxtended time for you cuz I really wanted to speak with you I really apologize cuz at the first time that we met earlier my voice was not that clear and I feel sorry for that I hope you can forgive me I'm so happy meeting you Anna just keep it up I hope the next time we see each other again we're going to discuss a lot of contents and aside from think n rank we have a lot of a piece of cultures have you ever stuff like that since you are aware of the materials so it's good keep it up you're amazing I'm really forward to seeing you again in our next class. ok you have a (★15:59) again. 안녕. 감사합니다. bye bye Anna. bye bye. 갈게.

You are already. I'm studying hard.okay. so we finished it. this is about (changes now)[18:39]Don't forget through.. don't forget the our main goal. okay? our main goal is to use different expressions.so you're like (their had been)[18:53] maybe use the patterns here.so if you can try to memorize some patterns so it will get easier (for to)[19:01] use them.yeah. in for other questions. just that. I just wanna remind you about our goal. okay?and I think the biggest change speacially for the past weeks is (the substance)[19:18] of your answers.so congratulations. No, i haven't. I actually live in Davao City right now.I haven't been in Pampanga. Are you familiar with durian? fruit.Durian, actually from the south east asian country, like Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Philippines.Yes, of course i did, Cebu, Negros i been there to visit my relative also and just have a trip. Not yet in Pampanga. So why, how about, how have u visited [06:36] here in the philippines?Yes, that's actually true boracay is kind of crowded. How about, have you heard Siargao? yes, that's true. No, i haven't. but i been to Siquijor. No, its in Visays, near Cebu and Negros. [07:47]I hope you can visit those places. they are also beautiful.Cebu, we are far from, but we have a famouse island here in davao that we called Samal island. You can searching there in the internet about Samal island. If you don't like, let, I'll just [08:47]a background of my cities. So, we have a famouse festival that we called Kadayawan Festival. It's like thanksgiving festival for the abundants, harvest that the city we don't can gets.and also not just that, but if its also about tribes that the city for the people originated from by city.so that the tribes, the harvest, and the abundats.Oh, well, in here, so since i am just at home at that time, if its weekend i usually go outside like grocery or mall.Yes, I'm still single, i don't have kids.Yes, that's true. and i am not in to, you know, for me, I'm still young. but not the age.I am just too young to be married.threre are.Actually there are many korean restaurants also here in my city.Ok, that's actually a great one. so here in my city, i can see there are definitly Korean restaurants, that is actually own by Koreans.I do sometimes, you know i am crazy on food, korean food, you know most of the times i also do, eat, Indian or let's saying, Thai food or mostly Philipino food. or Japanese. That is really dellicious. and also Panada.have you tried that Panada? That's really delicious.I also love those spanish food. but its actually connected with our root like culture because Panada actually came from Spain. But, it's actually we used to eat that its like a philipino food also.Yes, i can speak tagalog. How about you. have you learn to speak tagalog? That's good. How about cant you understand tagalog? if someone will talk to you in tagalog? It's simple word, that's good.Oh, i'm not sure about it. because so far i have none.I can travel anywhere i want. Since, i can just bring my laptop so that i can work as long as i have internet connection. But, that's what, if i will, i can do that one, if i want to, i can do that.Oh, that's so amazing. i think they own the business. like law firm or clinic. The only thing is that they are not connected to any companies here in philippines and they own firms or clinics or they have their own businesses.that's actually true.I think they own, their husband or they own their business here in the philippines, and then they have some nannies that they take care of their children, so that they can go to anywhere they wanted it go to the yoga, go to the mall like that.So they, no need for them to cook, no need to clean their houses. It depends on the guys also.but if he is a businessman, that same with your friend's husband, your life would be like that, but you have to live in the philippines.I totally understand that if they invited you to come to their house, it means they are opened and welcome you as a friend, as a good friend, part of their life.It means that they treat you as a friend.they will not. its actually ok.for philipino if you will or not invite them to your house, its actually ok.they will not insist you to go to your house.but if they invite you, let's have a dinner there or let's just talk there, let's have a girl time, it's actually ok.that's normal.don't worry about it. it's actually ok.thank you. Bye.

Hello. hi good afternoon. nice to meet you. oh my gosh I'm shocked you're so pretty. you look like a Korean actress. you're so pretty. oh really? yes I'm shocked, when I saw you oh my gosh you're so pretty. by the way my name is Khalysta. your name is Rosa right?I see. such a pretty name rose. symbolizes rose. how are you this afternoon? I'm doing good also thank you for asking. before we start the class, I'm going to ask you a few questions. okay? the way I talk, am I talking too fast or too slow for you? it's okay. I see. how about for the corrections? do you want me to correct you right away? or after the class? got it. thank you so much for telling me that. you're book is about K-talk. right? so did you have..did you pick a book already? like (2:32) topic are we going to talk about this afternoon?it's okay. just a moment. please tell me when you see the screen already, I'm sharing it now. okay how about now. can you see it?can you see it now? this time, when I open the book, it suddenly have it's own topic and the topic, the first topic is this one. ㅇㅓㄹㅈㅜㄱㅇㅏ? whenever only. ㅇㅓㄹㅈㅜㄱㅇㅏ. I see. thank you for that one. so this part, since I don't understand this. now I think you'll be my teacher and you have to explain it to me in English. tell me when you're ready. let's go. okay go. so how about you? are you a fan of drinking iced Americano?I see. so when you drink coffee, do you want eat sweet? or no sugar at all? I see. so when you fell that you're pants were getting tighter, you felt like it's (6:57) to really look out for yourself right? I see. well. actually I'm not really a fan of iced Americano but I only drink that if there's sugar, a little bitter sugar. because it's so bitter. I see. my favorite beverage is anything that has how you do call this one..green tea. especially matcha. that's my favorite. do you like matcha. can you maybe tell me, what's the difference between Korean matcha and Japanese matcha. so it's not really, the Korean matcha does not stick with a bitter taste. so a bit bitter but the clean taste. can you maybe tell me what Korean brand of matcha can you recommend? can you..how do you spell that one? because I'll remember that. I'll buy that one tomorrow. I'll look for it.really? I see.from Jeju okay. I'll remember that one thank you so much for that. so how about you? aside from drinking iced Americano what other beverages do you also love to drink? oh halohalo from the Philippines. you've been here in the Philippines? why did you start to like ube? what was, what's the reason why you liked it? I see. so since you already like ube, I think if you're gonna visit the Philippines, I'm sure that you'll be really happy because if you can try ube halaya. this is how you say it. ube halaya. it's really good. I think, if I can show you something. I've been saying that one to my students.that's why, that's the only thing I can pronounce well. okay here. I'm going to share my screen. okay tell me if you can see it already? how about now? can you see it? can you see it now? this is ube halalya. so it's really pure ube. and it's creamy and sweet. not too sweet. it's really un..soso. so it's really good. and if you can come here to the Philippines, you can have this ube.. how do you call this one. ube Leche Flan. have you tried Leche Flan? it's like a pudding. like this. do you have, in Korea. do you have halo halo? actually ube is really easy to make since it's just became from a fruit, not really a fruit. root crop. it's just a root crop and then you just have to keep.. mixing it and try to boil it first. and then, you can make your own ube. actually I think in your house, you can also make your own ube. I think they're almost complete with everything. they can sell anything. that's it so for ube. aside from ube, what other like flavors are you into? I see. so you've mentioned that I think you have been to other countries already right? what country have you visited so far? Bohol is really nice and perfect for foreigners. because there's, especially when you see the the chocolate hills. it's really great. when you go there, you can see the animal that is call..how do you call this one. (17:57)it's very extinct. almost it's existence it almost wipeout. so if it will be killed, you can not see any animal like that again. snorkeling? extinct. do you know extinct? when you say extinct, I'm going to send you a meaning.extinct refers to, I'm going to send it in the chat box. this one. that is a meaning of extinct. refers to a species. so for example, the dinosaurs. the dinosaurs went extinct already. no more. so (19:16) here, if the last star here.. vanished. no more. so those are extinct animals in Bohol. so you can only see them in Bohol.and they're so tiny. very tiny and have big eyes. in Korea, do you have.. what animals do you usually have in Korea? like do you have pandas? what? so you're not really into animals. I see. I'm curious. in your country, because I have talk to student before. and she told me that you have a lot of forest in Korea but there's no animal, is it true? so that was during the older days. I see. I understand thank you so much. so you know what? I really enjoy talking to you. I forgot about the time. thank you so much for having a class with me and don't worry after this class, I'm going to upload everything so that you can review after the class. have a great day. bye.

Hello. can you here me? long time no see. how have you been? I'm good. no complaints. what's wrong with the color blue? anything wrong with the color blue? nah it's just cold. it's the rainy season. so it was sunny but it drizzled then it sunny again but this afternoon for sure gonna be heavy rain. where are you? are you at work? I see. how was your trip? that's nice. almost a week right? more than a week. it's a direct flight? okay it's too long. was the longest flight you've ever been on? it was also a direct flight right? that's too long. ny the way don't say 11 hours by flight. you'd say by plane. so how was it? everything went well?use Turkish. okay. noticed.that's nice. they have a good sense of humor then. they're familiar. they're must be a lot of Korean tourists there. really? concentrate on. that's pretty weird. but he spoke in English right? spoke in English.thats fine, but that means you understood each other. he has multitasking. driving while talking to you. also did you bring your sauces as well? why? Turkish food or Turkish cuisine. why? is it? I don't know. like I had tried..wait let me search. what is Turkish cuisine?kebab. lamb. I don't eat lamb. gamey.that's why I don't eat lamb. gamey smell or gamey taste or gaminess. how about that? use it as a gaminess. I can't already..that kind of smell it. just imagine it.not tasty. I'm looking online what are Turkish..I think I probably tried a few, but all I know is it similar to middle Eastern cuisine.right? yeah like use a lot of yogurt, garlic, parsley. I don't know lots of different spices but you seem a bit disappointed.or not disappointed. upset. because you said it's the worst. so all did you eat them? ㅎㅐㅅㅂㅏㄴ and ㄱㅣㅁ it was package program. the gaminess you said like. so you didn't wanna look like a picky eater. so you just ate when you're already there. but didn't the hotel have like a breakfast buffet or something like that? the food wasn't the best part of the trip. that's why you said that's the worst, so so far, that's the worst you've tried. that's the capital right? so it was an expensive airport. fifteen dollars.oh really? I just guessed. am I correct? ah close. I don't spend that much money on coffee. I'll never, I rather just make coffee at home. I'm telling you. I've only been to Starbucks last then 10 times in my whole life. I'm not the type of person just spend thirteen bucks on coffee. just iced Americano right? medium. ㅁㅔㄱㅏ? for sure. I know ㅁㅔㄱㅏㅌㅜㅆㅓㅁㅍㅏㄹㅣㅂㅏ게ㅌㅡ? isn't that a cafe? bakery. but they have coffee right? expensive.so you guys bought it. why are you saying this?that's fine. two things. either your listening skills what? no you're fine. it's either accent? or your listening skills. but that happens to me sometimes too. especially someone has an accent, like you've had that happen many times during my classes. so what I ask my students when it's video class please type it in the chatbox. maybe they're mispronouncing something. maybe it wasn't clear enough. so you can't blame yourself but it's probably the accent. couldn't here. something embarrased? that's fine. and it's a learning experience. instead of thinking of it as a..I couldn't understand a simple word, next time, just be more attentive. it's fine. no big deal. at least you had coffee. does your friend, the friend you went with, does she speak English? wait he? who with you going? are you sure? wait a minute. are you hiding something for me? come on. what? very confident. she's or she has confidence. just say confidence. she's very confident. if it end in ENT,that's the adjective. so yeah. she's very confident. that's nice. what. yeah see? that's the point of studying English. sometimes just not grammar rules, pronunciation it does matter yes, but it's about getting your message understood. so like you said, you were able to order your coffee, no problems. (19:33~19:35 you don't gotta be sad but??) absolutely. of course. and I'm gonna do it with you and since you back from Turkiye, just remind you have to go on a diet. that's what you said right? when you get back? keep me updated, but anyway I'll catch you again soon. enjoy your. yeah it's my first time see you with a earrings on. I know I know but I just noticed it.but whenever you're at working you don't wear them do you? I don't think it..I don't notice it. I know, that's all I'm saying. I'll catch you soon.have a good one.

Hi how are you today? yes. what's new, what's exciting, what's happening? Congratulations. so I don't know what you mean? do you have to wait for long time before the next class starts or so what? or he will show up late or? Junior high school. so why do they do that? what do they have different schedules? is there any reasons or no reason? the first level is the highest level. that's already a problem. first level should be the lowest level. right? it's a bad teacher already failed they put number one on the top. everybody knows ten goes to the top. one goes to the bottom. it's not a math teacher. ok well you can do either way but in America, it sounds a little silly. but whatever, that's fine. ok interesting. that sounds difficult. so wait. I mean is this how people move up levels by having a big math? they must have waited when they fix their math, right? they can not put everything on the parents. 4:34there must be point world with two classes to match up right? if you finish one and join next one.so you're gonna do that? are you gonna do that or no? you want to do that. does your son want to do that?and it was ok. I see. so he's used to catching up. well it's not easy to catch up in math class. so that means he's doing something well I guess. ok so anything else happening these days? oh I thought you gave up on challenges.ok. you participated in group challenge. and what was the challenge? ok so five members randomly selected.you can just say five random members. you mean can join the group. ok. it was late. you can say recently. sometime yeah. ok. what's the challenge? five members. a thousand hours in ten days. that's not possible. I'm confused.you have to complete ten thousand hours? how many hours? 1000 hours. in how many days? in 10 days.right. within ten days. ok one thousand hours. ok I'm confused about what you're talking about. because think about it. one day has 24hours. right? so ten day has only 240 hours. but then of course, a thousand minutes. that's different. but it still seems a lot. I guess 600 minutes is what? 10 hours? is that right? I guess so. so it really gets only about 150 hours or less yeah ok. it's less than about 40 hours I guess. I don't know. ok so five members has 40 hours in 10days which is about ,,my math is very bad. but 2 and a half hours? per person. it's not that bad. it's only two and a half hours.why don't they just say two and a half hours? that's good. so did you finish the goal? ok. you can say it's competing also. ok so members compete with each other for gold coins or some coins.you thought you get second place? in reality. the next day. sneaky little kid. your next challenge you should make someone those coins. it was a good time. ok. do you spend much time talking with the other people in the group ornot really? do you meet the people in your group or not really? it doesn't matter who they are. right? they are just strangers. you don't know what they look like or anything. they are just strangers? I just know. ok. interesting.so you're gonna do another challenge? yes. I'll give you a challenge. do one class everyday with me. that's,,,for a year. that's your challenge. sounds good. ok gosh let me double check our time now. we're still doing ok for time. we got lots of time. ok. so what else is happening? are you gonna travel anywhere in summer or no? you can say I am planning now. lucky you. have you been to Italy before? so you went there when you were a student, did you say? or when did you go there? oh when you were in University. ok. sounds good. I see. so you get to be a guide. tell and say. this is spaghetti. this is pizza. you mean he's been studying now to go to Italy?or did he study in school? say he has been reading books about Italy. ok he's gonna be the guide. but you are the one who has been there before. ok. sure. that's fine. ok that's good. one person knows everything in the guidebook the other person knows the map so the streets. right? that's good. one person can tell you history and other person can tell you how to get there maybe. where are you going to Italy? ok so not in the summer. actually the fall.ok that sounds nice. how long will you stay there? I'm gonna put just 8 days. that's fine. ok about 8days.do you know where do you want to go in Italy? ok. where did you go last time? you went to Italy before. where did you go? ok but in Italy just Rome. Naples we say in English. did you go Naples also? oh you want to go to Naples? you've been to Naples. ok. it's not Tuscany is it? we can say in English. oh really go. English Toscana I guess. we tell it Toscana English it's Tuscany. I think my mom went Tuscany I think. it's famous for flowers or something. I don't know what it's famous for. vineyards. I'm not sure. so vineyards maybe. that's the word for growing wine. it's vineyard. that's spelled vineyard. but that's pronounced vineyard. we can get to or go to.ok sounds pretty good. will you drive around Italy? so wait did you say you're going to Venice? oh Florence. maybe.yeah it's dangerous. sure. or bribe to the local officer? yeah I understand. what about Venice? have you been to Venice? you're going on a group tour? ok. right. that's a good idea. otherwise, it's not easy to do. ok let's go ahead and read all messages before we stop. read all the messages. ok very nice to see you. so what are you going to do now after class? good idea. take a rest. ok. thank you. it's lovely to see you. alright. take care. see you soon. byebye.

Hello, can you hear me now? Hello? Hello. Alright. This is Zabrielle of Mint English. Am I speaking to Sammy? Alright, hello, Sammy. It's nice to meeting you hear. How are you? Wow. Oh my. Unusual. Oh, my. It hurts. It's like a little bit... but It would peel off after the sunburn it would peel off and it's a bit itchy. I don't know if you have some cream you can put on. Protected. Because it's.. I mean you cycle six hours under the sun. UV. Tomorrow. I can feel you, I am on the same shoes. Right. But it's ok if you feel nervous like a lot of people said that that is a good sign because that means that you are not being complacent about the interview. It means that you really care about it. Stutter. Like, you know you can work it out? Let's start with it like a step by step. like a small thing first. The key to that is during the interview, just don't think about it a lot. Cause if you think about it a lot, like if you are ready like an interview, you start it getting anxious. I see as we speak. Right. Do you want to practice one question for the interview? Oh interview is not in English. I see. This is not helpful then. This one, how I ask you. Why do you want to work in this company? Wow. Alright. That's actually good. So I can see what do you said earlier that you said things repeatedly so I can see that and that's what you have to work on anyway, it sounds confident and you will be able to sell yourself, you are able to mention your experience and your certificates so that's a good thing. Yes, it is good so. Just avoid repeating sentences you already mentioned it and you repeated in the second sentences, so that is not necessary anymore. Anyway, our time is up so we have to cut our conversation here and I'd like to say you can speak English fluently, you can express yourself well, to keep that up. I just wanted to take note of this sentence cause you said earlier my interview is Monday for 4 p.m. It should be my intervew is on Monday at 4 p.m. Thank you so much for your time and good luck with your interview tomorrow. Be confident. Alright? you're welcome. Bye bye.

hello good afternoon. thank u so much alright. so can you hear me clearly? ok btw my name is Risa nice to meet you what's your name? how are you today Anna? have you eaten your lunch? I see are you on a diet? but what about comes to food? watching out the food that you're taking in? the food that you're taking in are you on a diet or.. so you just eat whatever you want to eat? of course in a healthy way that's great to hear. btw since this is our first time would you like to introduce more of yourself? sure I'd love to (★2:32 ~ the one?) ok have you checked the lesson material? this and that just a moment let me open this and that. I'm gonna share. question 6 alright would you like me to share my screen or would you like to just look at the yoour lesson material? so I'll just (★03:04 ) this one so that your screen is clear. so whenever you're ready let's start with question six Anna. so how do you feel when there is a long silence in a conversation? ok alright so I agree too that one it's really awkward when there's a long pause over the conversation. so but when do you think is silence actually good or productive? reflective. it's just like you can relate to the topic or to the question here is how do you feel okay so it's just like you can relate to the silence it's like opposite of being awkward. it depends on the person. it's reflective. moving on to the question what is your go-to topic to feel uncomfortable silence? what is your go-to topic to fill in uncomfortable silence? go-to topic the topic that you can easily think aboutand you'd like to talk immediately during the silence? yes. so that's a really good help if instead of having silence your go-to questions are just knowing someone so that's a great way to fill in uncomfortable silence. so just like for example when we're talking to each other now and I'm waiting for your response and then there's the silence (★7:08 there's awkward and there's because?) only we didn't understand each other's point of view so asking a question is a really great way to fill in the silence. usually we have a conversation with our friends so do you have friends with (★07:32) still in total silence and still feel comfortable? ok. that's how you do it so listening so if nobody's talking already so that's the time when you're going to ask questions. but talking about friends I know you have friends so like you mentioned that earlier it's your husband so what about friends? do you have any friends who you can sit in total silence or it's still uncomfortable or no? it's still awkward ok. I can (★9:40 ~though), but if you have a really long time friend already and then you're very close so I think sometimes it feels comfortable to have silence. total silence. on the situation. so it's better to be alone when you're in silence rather than being with someone. thank u so much for your answer. but unfortunately it's already time. thank u for the wonderful (★10:28) ideas that you shared during this class and also plz don't forget to (★10:35 little?) feedback so that you can also get the 30,000 points you can also use that. so (★10:41) anyway thank u so much it was really nice talking to you today have a great day and see you next time bye.

Hi hello how are you today? I'll turn on my camera. just a moment. why are you tired? what's going on, what's happening? was there a mosquito in your room? no. you killed it. that's good. so what happened last night?oh yes. so you stayed up to watch the election results? oh ok it wasn't over yet. ok. what do you mean? oh you said ok. wait. before the sentence was the election ,,oh I don't know what sentence was before. you're saying the election is not over now or still going on? so they ran out of ballots? ballot is the paper that you used to vote on. they ran out of ballots in some locations? ok. sure. some people have to go home. right. some people couldn't stay for a long time to vote. how long did they have to wait? anyway until somebody got on the car and drove to pick up paper ballots and came back or something? well yeah it's also not even possible for many people right? they just can't come back to 10 pm. they can't do it. well yeah if you promise people it's gonna open until 10, you can't not take it before 10, I guess. right? they depend. I don't know who's making the rules immediately.but you can not keep changing the rules every five minutes. wow. sorry what? oh right. some people you know, have not proof. but they would claim the conspiracy just because results are not helpful for candidate right? so time to complain the conspiracy. so you're saying in one area, the race was very close. or the tally was very close. you can say. the tally is the number of counting. the tally.the number of vote counted was very close. almost all republican. ok. you can say the conspiracy minded people.ok wait. I'm confused. they wouldn't allow the election box to be taken because people had not finished voting?read or stollen. oh they wanted to revote again. wow that's difficult to stop the whole nation right? wait to revote again. ok I mean that's good in the sence they were standing enough for local constituent. right?let them all vote. let them all be counted. yeah I mean how they fight with the national government. it's not easy. sure I mean,,I suppose you know, I don't know anything about of course if how many people were not elected as a result or were elected as a result or if there's no change at all. I have no idea. but how about you? are you republican or no? so you're not happy about this situation, either. so you're saying your candidate won or republic candidate won. sorry. you don't vote in Seoul. is that right? you didn't vote in Seoul. ok. and you live in Seoul. right?or you don't live in Seoul? I see. it doesn't depend. wait. sorry. what does it depend on what ,,tell me that sentence again. oh you're saying fair election don't depend on which party is elected. I mean, I'm changing your sentence now. well fair election shouldn't depent on which party is elected. or anyway which party gets into power.I mean I don't know what else to say. but of course, I think I messed up your sentence. because for elections duty depends on which party gets into power. but they shouldn't. I don't know how else to say that. who gets into power shouldn't be related to for elections. I guess another way to say that. right? who wins or who is going to win I don't know. this is one way to say it. who is going to win shouldn't matter to holding into I guess, to the issue of holding for elections or something like that. my sense is getting worse and worse but I'm trying to cover everything.so we'll see if this is worthwhile sentence or not. but here we go. so who's going to win or just who wins shouldn't matter or be related to is the other way, right? but of course it is related. because it's unfair then it is related directly. I know what you mean. ok anyway it should be related to fair elections something like that. I still don't like my sense. but it's all gramatically correct. right. there's the first problem. that's what happens in America.if you take something like this, you'll say oh there's non part of sense. but of course, one side will get their people secretly in there. because nobody can control the election commission. they can destroy everything. nobody can stop them you know, except supreme court. supreme court is also corrupt like in America. then you're in big big trouble. but anyway National election commission is supposed to be,,you can always use that term.that is supposed to be non partisan. non partisan group. right. non political. I suppose it is simple you know, way to say that. but of course, there's nothing non political in the world finally. in the world of politics , there's non political. or it's hard to make something non political. it's difficult. it's tricky. yeah that's what's happening in America is that you know, the constitution is supposed to be bulletproof and it did very well. but as soon as you get people in office who really don't care about that. you know. they just lied about everything. say,,,of course we love constitution. that's why we're doing everything exactly the opposite of constitution. you're like,,oh no. nobody can stop us. right? but they claim to love the America. love the America of democracy. but always try to stop it.you know, gosh that's tricky. so finally are you happy that there's republican mayor in Seoul? ok. you expected that.because of popularity or because of corruption. ok so you believe this was the corrupt situation. you're one of the conspiracy people. I mean not all conspiracies are fake. some of them are real and true. it should be investigated.what do you mean? in your party. so they lost because of their bad reputation you think. ok so you're saying that democratics have better reputation these days? perhaps a little bit? not among your friends. of course. I see. and he got kicked out. I see. so they have to dissociate themselves from the previous president. I see. no. I'm saying yes but I'm not sure. I think you have to back up just a few sentences. tell me again.say again please. ok what you told me was that you're republican. you like republicans. but you understand that though masses do not trust republicans after the republican president was kicked out of the office. and they fear that republicans are still corrupted. do you mean republicans may still corrupted. ok starting from there, what do you wanna say after that? of course you said republicans need to dissociate themselves from the previous president. and? ok I mean are you aware of certain candidates that you feel should be removed or publically removed at least? you know, they might be still in office but you know, not the face of the republican party anymore. right?people were standing next to the president in the photos. they should not be in the photoes today. they should hide. hide the way and bring out the new fresh people. they do not 23:48? criminals. ok I mean that's a tricky situation. I suppose every political party has to do that at some point. right?there's always one bad guy. you know, everyone says ok. let's give up this person. they commited crimes.they are not good for our party. they are not good for the public just push them aside and try to clean up an image.ok. so interesting. I mean I suppose you know, people have this experience in life when they feel like they're in minority. do you feel like you're in the minority now? most Koreans do not trust republicans? when you say I'm republican, you don't appeal popular in the room? ok. so it's not a big difference. the country is still 60:40.in that's democratic and republic? 60:40? ok. I see. ok they will reinvent themselves and clean up their image as much as they can. it's tricky cause I mean 25:46people voted to become ? . they lose faith sometimes right?they say we know you want to clean up. but we're still not sure. yeah sometimes, the other party has been getting into power and do a bad job. now we love this party again. ok? we only remember the latest criminals. not the older criminals. sometimes. ok gosh. we're running out of time. I think. is that right? shall we read the messages? ok I have to go to my next class. but lovely to see you. good luck. maybe you should run for president.I would vote for you. president of universe of the Earth. thank you. bye. have a lovely evening. byebye

I agree with you. umm do you are you confident how much confident are you with yourself? one to ten. yourself. what is the.. where is the two points or three points.. why you are.. why is it not one hundred? aha okay. you because that's very popular in Korea. the models nowadays in your country has that kind of face too.. yeah I agree with you. who do you feel about people using AI edited or photo shopped images for official Id photos like passports.. or driver's licenses? what can you say about this people? if (08:33) [there or they're] lost you know.. if they .. if they get lost in real (08:38) you know if they don't have..if they have edited pictures. umm if they are lost..it's gonna be very difficult for people to look for them. so it's gonna be a problem. right? umm what do you also in (08:56) hands your pictures? do you also edit your pictures sometimes in which parts? what kind of edited photos do you do? aha just your cell phone. on your cell phone. okay. next. do you do people in your country tend to value inner confidence or appearance more? and why do you say so? social medias yeah. how about for you? how much of an appearance is important to you? of course. okay. I have a question for you. can you please think of the first time you met your husband. you didn't know each other yet. you know.. you just saw each other physically what did you like about him? sure. when .. in dating.. in dating stage.. in dating.. umm someone a girl friend or boy friend.. what do you look at first? when you had you're.. why did you like your husband? what did you like about him at first? yes. agree. yeah. me too. that's very important for me. it's really important for me. why.. why do you think appearance is important?for for us? why does it matter so much? yes. there's nothing wrong. because you know you have to so look for someone who has good face to.. you know it's (12:45) future of your kids in the.. you know.. if you gonna have children.. you also have to consider having a good face. husband or wife.. right? that's very important. okay. can you read the last question.that's true. that's true. so not only with physical appearance but also with healthy life style.. someone who (14:08-14:10) someone who...someone who..doesn't really...some who doesn't (14:17) too much. right? it's okay to drink but not too much.. I think. umm yeah. because it's going to be.. also very difficult..to to be in that kind of situation. umm are you proud of yourselves? these days? so if you are going to.. that say you are young..and you can see yourself now. in the future? yourself today.. can you say that your proud of yourself? okay. so you are proud of yourselves. very good. me too. I am also happy with.. how you are handling your life these days.. because... it's not easy. but you are also trying your best to.. umm have a good life. together with your husband too. right? are you proud of your husband now that you are getting to know him.. because they say.. being boy friend and girl friend is different from being a husband and a wife right? so you have known him for a long time too. can you say that you proud of him now today. aha. okay. so you are proud of your husband, you are happy with..how he.. is now as a person. very good. okay. cancel call out culture. aha okay. do you know what this is? okay. so this is a culture now a days.. actually in our culture in the past.. we didn't have this kind of culture. okay. but in this generation. for generation..generation.. generation (16:36) they have this thing called cancel culture.. which means.. if they are not.. if person did something bad.. or if the person did something wrong.. they're going to cancel this person. I mean.. they're not gonna be friends with this person anymore. because this person is not really a good person something like that. so. they're going to like.. (17:03) attention. they're going to tell you.. hey.. what you did was wrong and because of that? you don't be wrong to our group anymore. something like that. can you understand? okay. umm so now that you have understood what it is? can you tell me. what is cancel culture meaning simple words?no. no. in the past. there is none. but today there is.. so in our generation you and I during the past there is no cancel culture. you know we accept each others personality but now a days for for younger generation. if someone did something bad..they are not going to friends with you anymore. so it is in the present. not in the (18:09) okay. okay. I will give an example. for example. BTS. okay for example. one member let say JK (18:59) member JK committed drugs okay. now a days. in this culture. people will not (19:10) like JK anymore. so for example. one member did drugs.. or did something bad. sexual things..and then it was out (19:22) public so people knew about it. and then now a days. these people with not like you anymore. they would cancel you. I don't like you anymore. okay. that during out time. in the past. you know with Michael Jackson. umm with other you know.. a famous..celebrities even if they do something bad.. you know people will accept them still. but now a days. if you did something bad. you know people.. will not accept you anymore. they will reject you. cancel. okay. okay. what is a well known example of culture cancel in your country? and what was the public reaction? okay. give me another examples so I give you BTS. an example. how about you? can you think of another example? okay. yes. it's mandatory. yes. culture. yes. even if this person has a (21:27-21:29) in the (21:30) of other people in the ice of the public can this not acceptable okay. very good example. okay. you understood.the meaning of it. okay. do you think people are too quick to judge other people online? okay. why do you say so? yeah. rumor right. that's true. even if you are not sure about something if you (22:56) online. they think.. we think that we already have the right to judge other people which is very bad. right? because we are not perfect. were also humans like them. they are also humans.. they are not perfect. we will also definitely we're also not. right. okay. do you think social media makes it easier or harder for people to forgive? and why do you say so? agree. true. just like. we yeah.. we (24:09) hate so much right? just like Kim right? do you like him? what was your reaction? about that issue?? because it was very big news in Korea.. because he is very popular as well so what was your reaction honest reaction when you first heard about him? about what he did? yeah. I think so too. okay. alright. so we're gonna end we will still continue this. you know this is something that we have to talk about so next meeting we will talk about it more. (25:02) gonna continue answering letter E. on our next class. okay. have a great day. bye bye thank you.

Hello. can you here me? long time no see. how have you been? I'm good. no complaints. what's wrong with the color blue? anything wrong with the color blue? nah it's just cold. it's the rainy season. so it was sunny but it drizzled then it sunny again but this afternoon for sure gonna be heavy rain. where are you? are you at work? I see. how was your trip? that's nice. almost a week right? more than a week. it's a direct flight? okay it's too long. was the longest flight you've ever been on? it was also a direct flight right? that's too long. ny the way don't say 11 hours by flight. you'd say by plane. so how was it? everything went well?use Turkish. okay. noticed.that's nice. they have a good sense of humor then. they're familiar. they're must be a lot of Korean tourists there. really? concentrate on. that's pretty weird. but he spoke in English right? spoke in English.thats fine, but that means you understood each other. he has multitasking. driving while talking to you. also did you bring your sauces as well?

Hello. good evening. how are you today? aha okay. why is today off? aha okay. yeah. so what did you do? yesterday was also holiday in your country so umm some of my students they travel to Japan.. they went to China Vietnam Da Nang last Friday. how about you? how was your weekend? okay. were there a lot of people? okay. alright so. let's begin.. where is where we did end? aha minimalism letter F. umm okay. what is the difference between being minimalist and being cheap. (02:44) there's so different between the two.yeah.. umm being cheap is even if you have like money you would just like to buy something that is really really cheap. not because of being minimalist. it's just you don't like it. do you know you don't spending much money. that when you say you are minimalist you are trying to make your like a life style.. also simple..and yes..simple but very good. right? okay. Jiye.?.do you decide if an item is truly "essential" if something is really needed or not? umm give me an example please okay. very good. yes that's true. umm can you give me an example of your wants and need. so give me 3 things that you want.. but you don't really need it. and the thing that you really need. so 3. 3. okay watch. two more. oaky. black? why? very particular why black? yeah. that's true. okay. watch. black jacket. what else? one more? okay. something that you want.. you don't really need it but you like it? okay. yeah. that's..okay. I pad. yes that's right. okay for me too. I pad.. umm what do we (06:57) aha new I phone 17 pro max. you know those are.. you don't really need it.. but you want right? okay. umm when was the last time you bought something that? you don't really need but you like it. aha okay. why so why? do you say it's just want? it's not you don't really need it? aha umm okay it's not really really necessary but you just want to. okay. what was the last item that you really need? what was the last item that you bought that you really need (08:25)? okay. aha that's important them. is it expensive in Korea not really? aha very.. you .. do you know so buy a "Diso"? you do you buy there not really? okay. alright. so let's move on to the next question. okay. why do you think many wealthy people many rich people adapt to minimalism? so even if they are rich, they want to have a minimalistic life style? why? yes that's true. agree. that's true.what do you think is your (10:31) in life? poor medium or rich? yes. okay. medium alright. do you think your parents and grand parents had more minimalistic life style? than you? I think so too. I will (11:17-11:19) why do you think? agree. umm also.. I don't know. in my opinion..just in my opinion.. during there time they also want to they also want to.. own a lot of things to because they are..(12:07) parents didn't buy them.. a lot of things when they were younger too alright? okay well if you decided. if you decided to try minimalism? what would you like to get lid of or change first? okay why? (13:00) them of it. wait a minute. so what do you do with the things that you don't like anymore or doesn't fit you anymore? what do you do with it? yeah. so what do you do? do you give it to somebody? do you keep it? do you sell it? aha okay. and no one will like it. already if you are okay. but you never know you know the fashion before is a becoming a new trend now.umm you know this this is.. a very old style. you know before... during our time but now a day it's already you know it's trendy.. again. right. so I also (15:00) also like this kind of (15:02) umm sometimes but not too much. not like this (15:06) maybe.. it's the simple cut not too much.. but sometimes you told so a good style too. okay. so let's move on to beauty standards. I like this topic okay. Jiye. question number 1. what is the typical standard of beauty for men and women in Korea? okay. okay. slim body. okay. how about your husband? okay. okay. alright. next question. okay. do you think the social media makes beauty standards harder or easier to achieve? because? agree. that's true. how about for women? let's talk about women in your country? what is the standard a beauty for women in your country? aha small face. aha yeah because of the K-pop and also the models.. in Korea okay. how about nose? tall nose too. how about eyes? very big. okay. what is one common thing in your country that people do to look beautiful that you think is extreme? okay. so something that other people think is beautiful or more (18:53) of the people think it's beautiful. but for you.. it's not really.you know what umm especially now a days.. younger generation they would look.. look at social media than younger generation now they are going to look at the social media. and they're going to copy.. everything that they see.you know even if they can not a (20:17) even if they can not..even if they don't have money to buy it. they will (20:23) their parents to do and buy these kind of things too. right? do you think black skin color? is beautiful? umm okay. in Koran it's that common? it's that color common? or not common. okay. should schools ban or enforce certain clothes or accessories? why? do you think girls in high school or elementary can wear makeup already? they can or they can not? they can.. umm why? because some .. in my country they are not allowing.. they are not allowing elementary or high school students to wear makeup.and when I was younger the school is(23:06) they are banning girls to wear makeup and even color of hair. black brown like that it's not allowed. how about in your school before? okay. alright. okay. so we are going. I like this topic. let's talk about this umm next meeting. it's still about beauty standard. umm letter F. okay. alright. so thank you so much. I had a fun time with you today. thank you I will see you again. on Thursday have a great day. bye bye see you again.

Hi Anna good afternoon this is teacher Dustin. Nice to meet you how are you? wow I'm also doing good I also finished my lunch also actually it's a little bit late. how about you? have you had your lunch? um what did you eat? oh so you didn't have a heavy lunch today. I see that's why and you like working out or you just that it's normal routine or it's your daily routine? that's a very good one actually me too to be honest I don't like to work out when time goes by I need to be cautious with my health. I was planning to start I haven't started again but normally in the past I did sports but right now I didn't do activities so I am planning to go to the gym but I don't have time yet actually. thank u so much for sharing before we continue I just want to ask am I speaking too fast or it's fine? sure let's have a promotion class and again if you just in case that you don't understand what I'm saying you can always let me know ok? that's perfect so I just share my screen and what activity would you like to do? this is a very good one this is my favorite actually. so this or that focuses on you know on personality or how would you interact in (★3:10 listener?) you. and before we continue this have you done this before? or this is your first time? wow that's nice so let's start so question 1 which role feels more natural in a conversation for you? so are you an active listener? a frequent speaker? the moderator? the observer? or the storyteller? and why do you talk less why do you listen and observe? or you prefer to listen than talking. very good so actually That's a good answer and me too more on I'm the observer. I sometimes speak but it depends on the (★4:48 situation?). specially for the new people I just observe cuz different people have different personality so I just want to be careful cuz I might offend someone especially when we first meet so for me I just observe and see what kinda personality this person has and if I already analyze his or her personality that's the only time I talk to him or her so that I won't give him or her any like a feeling I don't make him or her feel embarassed like that. so that's the how I do but you said that you are not do talking but right now but you can actually talk good. yes you can actually you don't have to be shy specially during my class you can speak anything you want cuz this is the room if you had mistakes that's fine there's no (★6:12 purpose? perfect?) even native english speakers their grammars are not perfect. ok? so anything else would you like to add here? sure so question 2 what is the hardest part of being a good listener? so it means that your answer is staying focused. it's like it depends on the topic it's like your brain is flying out if you're not interested. um I see and um I see so not only staying focused and you also it's also difficult for you to remember details. cuz you're not really interested. um yes so that's the main deciding factor if you're going to listen carefully or not right? but what makes you interested? what are the topics that make you interested? oh. wow. and yeah me too if I were to talk about it, I would be also interesting cuz especially you're learning languages I also love learning different languages I speak in Eng I speak in Philippino I know how to speak a little bit in Spanish I also know a little bit in Madarine but I'm not that fluent but I know how to understand their basic greetings like those cuz Japanese I know a little bit of Japanese cuz of anime of the yeah so I like watching anime that's why I understand some basic Japanese um expressions. and do you have anything else to add here? um it's I think what you're trying to say is if the topic is interesting for you, it's really difficult for you to interrupt your listening ability. right? or for example, sorry go ahead. yes that's what exactly I'm trying to say so (★10:23 if there's? ) even someone's trying to talk to you but you're really interested with your friend your focus is only to your friend right? that's a very good one thank u for sharing and I'm really sorry it's already time I extended our time a little bit cuz earlier I was a little bit late so I (★10:47 know? really? ) sorry about that but before we end our class I just (★10:51 add?) a minute for you so first of all your Eng is quite good and you did a good job I think we just need to focus on a little bit of vocab. cuz I noticed sometimes you know how I mean you know what to say cuz you're choosing what correct word you want to say right and hopefully I can see you on our next class so that we can I can help you we can also do this activity cuz this activity we last for two weeks so we can continue this or we can choose another activity ok? do you have any more questions before we end our class? I guess this is for today so thank u and have a nice day bye.

English skill is definitely needed in your field of works. so, you did great decision.yes, that's great. thank you sharing about that.but also, in our class today, we only have (10:37) five minutes left. so for that five minute, Would you like to, you know, uh... introduce yourself more, sharing about your hobbies, before we get to the serious talk for the next class.Oh.. that's right because you, you have a lot of free time. Of course yes. "Try to quite a few?"I understand right now. But don't be shy about it. It's another opportunity you to introduce yourself, especially that you're going on the interviews thesedays. One of them, You need to introduce yourself. They might ask you about your hobbies, too. That's right. But (16:29) to, to meet you today. I hope you have a great time, you know, our next class on Thursday

I don't know what it's famous for. vineyards. I'm not sure. so vineyards maybe. that's the word for growing wine. it's vineyard. that's spelled vineyard. but that's pronounced vineyard. we can get to or go to.ok sounds pretty good. will you drive around Italy? so wait did you say you're going to Venice? oh Florence. maybe.yeah it's dangerous. sure. or bribe to the local officer? yeah I understand. what about Venice? have you been to Venice? you're going on a group tour? ok. right. that's a good idea. otherwise, it's not easy to do. ok let's go ahead and read all messages before we stop. read all the messages. ok very nice to see you. so what are you going to do now after class? good idea. take a rest. ok. thank you. it's lovely to see you. alright. take care. see you soon. byebye.

Good evening how are you? good tired? a lot of it.. aha so you what do you call that.. you had a what do you call that. night routine yeah. like skin care. and all okay. very good. and I'm so happy to see you how what you were first day was it busy? oh. it's Thursday today. you don't work in the dormitory anymore? so no more work? in the dormitory? or that's every Tuesday?umm okay so what did your plan? for the weekend? what will you do Saturday? and Sunday? okay so what are they gonna do there? wow okay. so you are going to is it expensive to hire them? you can use it for a long time too. right? you know that's what my dad always umm tell us when we were younger.. he said it's better for you to buy something that it's expensive because it will last longer. but if you buy something cheap. it's cheap. but it will also be destroyed earlier. right? yeah. so learn that it now a days.. even if it's expensive I (02:45) buy it.. because the quality and the (02:48) ability it's way better than the cheaper ones. right?. do you buy something from China? yeah. so for example you bought something online and then..it like Temu. do you..aha, okay. just Korea. okay. because the quality is really good. okay. so let's begin Jiye today we are going to talk about .so we finished with generation gap. global citizen. okay do you think Internet connects people globally or separates them locally? so it (04:15) likes them internationally but then domestically or locally it separates them? what do you think? so do you think the Internet connects people globally or separates them locally? why do you say so? umm okay. do you have a lot of friends online or do you know anybody online? (05:17-05:20) Mint teachers. do you know other people? online?.aha do you think it is dangerous to sometimes? yes. okay why is it dangerous? yes. okay. aha. okay. do you what is one big problem in the world that all country should work together to solve? letter F. I think so too. right. yes. why did we.. and. yeah. this one. a b c yeah. have you ever bought something I remember you said yes. right? a lot. is being an influencer a real job and why or why not? because for me honestly I don't think it's a real job. how about for you? okay. how can.. how can we.. or how can a person make money out of something. okay. but also yeah now I realize it's not easy for them to make contents.. to make videos you know it's not easy. because they also need to think, they also need to be creative so that people will still watch them after right? how long do you watch internet or influencers in a day in a week in a month? how often do you watch them? okay. who influencers make younger people want to an unrealistic lifestyle? me too. I agree so much why do you say so? that's true. they also want to change their face all the time right? so they also want to do plastic surgery it's nothing.. there's nothing wrong. but if each too much I think it's not only. once twice. it's okay. but three times four times I think it's not okay. right? umm and sometimes not over time though but sometimes this young children this young people they don't like to study really hard anymore. because they would say.. aha it's okay. you know even if (10:35) not a graduate of something I can be an influencer.. I can be a content creator.. I can be a Youtuber. even if I did not finish my studies. which is really sad. right? what kind of content example beauty, games, finance, is the most popular among your age group? in your town? okay. because. not only in Korea but globally you know people are interested in food. you know different kinds of food..who doesn't like delicious food right? all of us too... umm if you are going.. do you think famous influencer should use their power to talk about social problems? okay. very good. okay. good job. and it is also very difficult because if they would speak and if they would use their platform if they are spreading thoughts information if they are not umm providing correct information..you know people would believe them because they are popular.. because they are idols you know younger generation or even our generations so if they are spreading false information then it's gonna be a bigger social problem. right okay. if influencer gets in trouble do you think their follow should forgive them easily? okay. I have an example here. umm wait a minute. umm this has been a very popular character he was a very popular person before his name is Kin Soo Hyun you know him right? right. and now he is not popular. anymore right? because of the issue that he has been to I think two or three years ago..and there was a girl.. a young girl you know.. he committed suicide unfortunately and they were (13:53) that he was in in a relationship with her throughout her career and then you know things happen and then.. this girl committed suicide. and Kin SooHyun has to be (14:04) for it. right? so my question is.. if.. Kin Soo Hyun. get in trouble or other influencers do you think that their follow should give forgive them easily? and why or why not? do you like him? yes that's right. that's true. I agree. umm and you know they think.. they made people believe other something unreal and the first place. so I also I am not (15:36) it's just that umm they (15:39) us in believe in that they are good influencers when they are not. okay. my last question for this topic (15:49) [with B or would be??] if you are an influencer Jiye what kind of content would you create and why? oh okay. so life style. why do you like to (16:32) your life to another person? okay. okay. how about makeup? me too. umm do you think it is a good idea to become content creators? creativity. okay. why do you say so? okay. alright and originality too it is very important that you will be original because if you just copied your contents you know to another like content creators or bloggers then you know it's also not gonna give you a good impression to your audiences. right? okay. a minimalism. oh okay. do you wanna start with this topic? okay. question number 1. what is your simple definition of minimalism? okay very good. not too heavy. not too intense.. it's just simple. right. okay. can you say that you are a minimalist? and why do you say so? yes. okay. very expensive and very beautiful so it's difficult to give up. yeah. yes.two month ago. yes. retainers.. I do. yes. yeah.. too long very long. like actually I (20:26) like 3 times one when I was in highschool one when I was in college and one now. that I am working. okay. me too. I have. we have to do that. you have to wear that because if not. you know the doctors said you have to wear it forever. yeah we have to wear it forever so yeah to be very careful.. about that. okay. you know this... thank you so much. okay. Jiye. what is your opinion on the idea that a minimalist life style is happier life? do you agree with it? or do you disagree? and why do you say so? me too.yes. correct. they can save their time. their money as well you know so it can also give them a good advantage. because it can save their money because of that too.right. okay so next one is. okay next question. what does happening in zoom? okay. do you like having a lot of possessions or just a few simple ones? okay. like what? yeah. as we get older we don't need everything. right? so as we get old you know we realize (22:56) are important in life. those are (22:59) okay. what is hardest thing to get rid of when you are trying to declutter?? umm example books, gifts..clothes, shoes.. what is the hardest thing to give up? umm okay. gift. alright. why do you say so? that's true. perfect answer. especially if it is given by your husband if it's given by your mom your dad.. your.. best friend you know sometimes it's very difficult too. (23:48) go of them. because it's already important in your life okay. okay. next do you think a very simple space looks beautiful or boring? why do you say so? yeah. that's right. umm it's like you are living in a hotel something like that. okay. very good. so we're gonna continue with letter F. on our next class. next meeting Jiye. thank you for your time and your effort for today..I'll see you on Tuesday have a great holiday on Monday. okay. bye.

Hi. Good evening. It is teacher Dustin. How are you? Oh, how was it? Yes, I remember. It's been a while. Yes. And how was it? Wow. That's great. Actually I am.. thank you for sharing your experience. I am also happy that you are able to have this kind of opportunities. I like before, right before you asked me if you can pass, if you can do this and I always said you can do this. You are able to have this option and now you are asking me what do you think for me, or you are asking me about [05:52] may I have been about choosing, right? Um. To be honest, [06:03] choose. This is my own opinion, but of course it depends on the situation but I would rather keep my job for more experience. Even my salary will be reduced after three month, experience is actually the best teacher, so isn't it that having more experience can give ,it can give you more opportunity. So it's like if you ask my opinion, I would choose something that more stable and something that can teach me more with my career. Yes. That's what I am thinking. It's also good actually. It is also good. But if we will talk about how stable it is, I think the other one is more stable. Yes, that's right. Especially nowadays, I know that when it comes, I think everyone have experience economic crisis and having a stable job is actually an edge for you to keep moving on because if you rely on something that is not stable, there's a chance that you won't get any income for how many, for example, for four months. After four months, your income will not stable and you end up giving up that job. Let's say, you will look for a job for a month, so it means that you will aready lost a month of your income while if you have stable job, you don't have any losses. Or you don't have any gaps. Do you get what they mean? I see. So I think if the job offers you bigger money, I think go for it. that's actually that gives this [09:22] if you will have more money that's why we are working. That's why we are looking for the job because we want to earn more so I think if your decision is into that direction, I think you can go for it. Yes. I mean not really better but of course it depends on your decision. [09:52] actually it is your decision, but in my opinion I will look for the stability or you will be stable and then the second thing that I will look for it is salary. If the salary is higher go for it. Ok? Yes. Actually I am really sorry. It's already time but thank you so much for sharing and hopefully you come up with this decision and for sure you are going to be better. And know you are doing good. Ok? You're welcome. See you next class.

Hello oh hold on please.. my computer.. okay. okay. there good evening. how are you today? Hi how are you? how was your day today? what did you do? where did you go? aha okay. I thought you had a vacation. aha okay. how's your job these days? how was it are you having hard time or is it busy? are you tired? okay. alright. so what are we going to do? where will we start? okay. we will continue with lesson yeah. yeah. generation gap. or global citizenship. global citizenship. what does it mean to be citizen in the world or global citizen? okay. should your country help ... should your country help people in need in other countries. should your country help people in need in other countries? okay. because why should we do that? why should you help another? yeah.yes. and do you think it is? what why should we do this? umm okay alright. do you think travelling to other countries make you a better global citizen? and why? aha okay. umm life style like what? give me an example. okay. simple and clean. if you can travel in a country for six month.. If you will leave in a country for 6 month what country would you choose and why? okay why France? okay. for a long time okay. if you could volunteer anywhere in the world, where would you go and why? volunteer for free. why? okay. yeah. I agree. okay. do you think the internet connects people globally or separates them locally and why do you say so? okay yeah I agree. each other. yes. okay. next one. what is one big problem in the world that all countries should work together to solve? okay. why do you say so? that's true. okay. very good. what is the most common stereotype people have about your country? and is it fair? so when people say.. you are like this or like that.. do you like.. Koreans are like very this or like that.. very good very bad. so what are these things that people tell about Koreans? or people think about you (10:15) like for example.. what do people think of Koreans.. like do you think people think Koreans are fashionable do you think people think like Korean is like this.. is like that.. umm okay. alright. okay. what do you think about famous athletes or celebrities using their platform to talk about global issues.. for example..PSY do you know Gangnam style? okay. so for example him.. so he would post on Face book. like video.. and then he would talk about global issues in Korea.. what would you think about that? what do you think about that? very good. good answer. good job. sometimes you know famous people can do this too. right? so it can affect. umm what is one positive thing that comes from many different cultures in the world? okay aha that's possible. okay. very good. Jiye good job very good. okay. alright. so still have a lot of time. so we can start do you wanna start with..influencer culture? or next meeting? okay. let's answer some questions alright. so who is your favorite social media influencer or content creator? because as we know content creators are very popular these days already.. so who is your favorite and why? okay aha okay. how often do you watch her? okay. oh so you follow him on instagram? okay. what aside from him who else do you follow? like is their like.. people you follow for.. makeup.. cooking. or life style. and who is he or she? clothes and fashion. where? You tube? instagram? face book? aha okay. how many influencers do you follow? 200 people. okay. and the okay. question number 2. what is the difference between a celebrity and an influencer. yes. agree. so and. yeah. exactly. I agree with you. umm an the content creator is local.. you know.. you know the people who are doing (18:15-18:16) "Mukbang" and it's not a profession. but for celebrities they are representing your country like.. for example.. umm what's the name of.. BTS or Twice. or.. 21.. like that they are celebrities. and even famous actors and actress right? umm did you ever want to be an influencer in your life and why? so.. there are a lot of my students.. would say.. I also wanna be a blogger or content creator. yes. not only your face but you are a life. (19:29) life will be exposed to other people. right? so and me too.I also don't..I am not very comportable sharing my life to another persons like your husband.. your family.. your friends.. you know (19:50) gonna know everything they will like your bags.. if it's designer bag.. or what not? people will know about it and they are gonna be interested in every thing about you. so it's uncomportable. but. why is it that even if you know it's not gonna be private anymore why are their a lot of people feel who wants to be content creators bloggers why are their still a lot of people who wants to become?? influencer or blogger? why? I agree. money in number one. I totally agree. because in blogging I don't know if it's true. but most of the content creators here in the Philippines they are rich now..because of contents that they made. in there. you know everyday life. but it's very risky because people already know about your lives right? so it's difficult. okay. umm what is the most ridiculous or strange you have seen an influencer promote? aha what is.. you know (21:39) right? you know (21:41) what is the most (21:43) thing that content creator made that you have seen what is most stupid? the most stupid umm thing that an influencer did that you have watch? yes okay. oh okay. exactly you know.. you can not..loose weight.. just buy drinking something yeah.. to do work out you have to do diet.. you have to do this kind of you know effort. before you can trid it's so (23:04) okay. umm last question. have you ever bought something because an influencer recommended it? like what? okay. what was it effective? I mean when you bought it did you were you happy about it? okay. you bought it.. at coupang? or Amazon where did you buy these days? aha you usually use coupang. okay. alright. I had fun talking to you. we will continue with a lesson 4. so unit 4. umber 5. next meeting. okay.alright. have a great day. good night bye bye.

Bye bye.

So what kind of job are you applying for? You want a csr job again. How long did you work in the past? What were your job experiences? And what was your role in your previous company? Why do you want to work in a customer service field? So what is the most challenging issue you have to resolve? How do you handle those unreasonable customers? After a very long time. I understand. [08:40] Interview? Oh yeah. I have. Many many times. Very very many. Oh my Gosh. A lot. Maybe a hundred? Or fifty. Many when I was younger. Yeah, probably, a lot, a lot. A lot. I see but nobody is bad at working out as long as you are consistent. ok well that's good to hear so it seems like you're into fitness. oh. that's good we can talk about that if you want to. alright before we proceed, I just like to ask you some questions. so would you like your corrections to be made immediately or would it be at the end of this questions or do you just want to have it on your feedback box? ok alright that's great now am I speaking too fast for you or do you want me to go slower? ok so as we were talking about preparing for pregnancy, you mentioned about the Pilatese how long did you mentionted also that you've started two weeks ago can you tell me how you started working out or aside from Pilatese are there any other things that you're doing to improve your overall health? you mean the vitamins. wow I see yes but vitamin Bs is good for your metapolism also I heard that if you take folate, you know the vitamins folate is good for prengnancy so if you're preparing for or to be pregnent you should take folate as a supplement three months before planning and (★3:52). folate it's f o l a t e. oh you're taking that too. it's folic acid. actually they said that folate is good for the fetus's brain development. I see and the how long have you been trying to conceive? also you mean to say you started conceiving last March. since March of this year. ah I see well that's a sad story. I also lost a baby before. I also went through the same experience. it will be better so they said blessing will come for sure. no as (★5:35) right now, I do not have a baby I have a daughter. she is already teenager. yes. grown up she's almost graduating in the middle school. ok alright how about your husband? can you tell me what your husband is doing in preparation for conceiving? I see. but is he also taking any supplements that would help? alright that's great. that is actually one of the routines most couples should do in order for you to conceive and be successful in having a baby. well do you have any plans like baby names probably that you have think of if it's a girl or a boy? ok with the meanings of course? like you tell me one name that you picked and why did you pick the name? oh help. ok. that's the first name wa. and that means help. that's very interesting. ok and how about your husband? does he have any suggestions for baby names? did he like it? vote. ok so you like to get the impressions or you would like to get the vote for your family. what name will be giving to your baby. I see alright that was a great conversation with you today. our time is almost up but I really appreciate you conveying your thoughts about pregnancy and the anyways the feedback will be noticed on your feedback box and you'll be receiving as soon as I finish ok? you're welcome have a great evening. bye bye.
