▶ I've been practicing English shadowing for a month, and it's been quite a journey. Initially, keeping up with native speakers' speed and intonation was challenging—I often stumbled over words and struggled with rhythm. However, consistent practice has led to significant improvements.
One major benefit is my enhanced listening comprehension. Mimicking native speech has sharpened my awareness of pronunciation and natural speech patterns, boosting both my understanding and confidence in speaking.
My pronunciation has also improved. While I still have an accent, shadowing has refined it, bringing me closer to native-like clarity. The progress, though not perfect, is noticeable and motivates me to continue.
Lastly, shadowing has expanded my vocabulary and idiomatic usage. Repeating phrases from native speakers has taught me how to use words in context, greatly enhancing my fluency.
